FAMILY COTTAGE
Renting a cottage for the family for a week or more allows you the luxury of a private vacation residence that feels more like "home" than a hotel, without the overhead and upkeep. It also affords you the freedom to go back to Toronto in one hour, giving your family a home base from which to explore local attractions across Lindsey, Little Britain, Kawartha Lake etc. If you are planning to invite visitors, remember to plan for enough sleeping space for everyone - and if they are bringing sleeping bags, make sure to clear the extra people with the cottage owner/manager.
